What this is

LookupOwner shows public property records: lot lines, land use, values, sales, and the owner of record with the mailing address on the tax roll (except for California individuals, see below). It is not a survey, title search, or appraisal, and records can be out of date or wrong. Check with the county before relying on anything here.

Not a consumer reporting agency: no FCRA uses

LookupOwner is not a consumer reporting agency, and the information here is not a consumer report under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). You may not use it, in whole or in part, to decide anyone's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing or tenant screening, or any other purpose covered by the FCRA or similar state laws. If you do, you are breaking these terms and we may end your access.

Acceptable use

• No stalking, harassment, threats, or intimidation of anyone found here.
• No scraping, bulk downloading, or getting around daily lookup limits.
• No reselling the data.

What we don't show

No relatives or address history. Phone numbers and emails appear only where a public source for that parcel publishes them.

California owners

For properties in California, and for owners whose mailing address on the tax roll is in California, we don't show the names, mailing addresses, prior-owner names, phone numbers or emails of owners who are individuals (including trusts named for a person). Those records read “Owner: private individual (California)”, and they don't appear in owner-name search. Property facts such as the address, parcel, values and sales still show. Owners that are companies, governments or organizations are still named.

Remove my name

Owners can hide the whole record for a property (name, mailing address, any phone or email, and the property details) at any time at Remove my name. It takes effect right away while we verify the request.

Privacy: accounts

If you create a free account, we store your email address, when you signed in, and how many owner lookups you used each day. We use your email only to send sign-in codes and account notices (no marketing, never sold or shared). Sign-in codes expire after 15 minutes; sessions last 30 days or until you sign out. You can delete your account and its usage history at any time from the account page. See also the privacy notice.
